COMMENTS

Likes: The Cross reads the lane early and stays smooth and even. It's basically a benchmark ball for heavier patterns.

Dislikes: The Cross is a bit condition specific for me, but that really isn't a bad thing. When the shot calls for it, the Cross is amazing.

The Mastermind and Intellect are great when you need heavy oil balls that really hook, but sometimes control is the word of the day, and that's what the Melee Cross is all about. The Cross reads the lane quickly and arcs the whole way home. Because of that, I find the Cross to be my best option when facing heavier Sport patterns. The symetric core and the early roll keep me in and around the pocket when the asymetric balls want to break loose on me. If you need control on heavier patterns, go ahead and pick up the Melee Cross!
